Welcome to Virginia's Age Wave Preparedness Resource Center
We're facing unprecedented challenges from the enormous aging population wave that is beginning to roll through Virginia. Now is the time for communities and businesses to prepare -- and the Older Dominion Partnership wants to give you the tools to do so.
This resource center will identify leading performance indicators of individual, business, and community-level preparedness, point to data and information on each, and start sharing preparedness information and best practices. We'll begin by focusing on Metro Richmond, then use that model to add communities across Virginia. Virginia's Community Based Age Wave Plans
The following are direct links to community-based age wave preparedness plans. These plans extend beyond the Commonwealth's four-year Plan -- the QAA required for federal funding. They were all inspired by and crafted by stakeholders in each locality.
